RedHat Enterprise Linux 5.4 sức mạnh mới cho ảo hóa

Vừa mới được phát hành Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.4 là sản phẩm thương mại đầu tiên mang tính năng ảo hóa dựa trên KVM (Tính năng Kernel-based Virtual Machine). RedHat cũng cho biết từ phiên bản Red Hat Enterpise 5.4 sẽ không còn sử dụng XEN cho ảo hóa nhưng vẫn hỗ trợ khách hàng đang xử dụng XEN tới năm 2014.

Các sản phẩm phiên bản 5.4 tiêu biểu gồm có :

+ Red Hat Enterprise Linux Advanced Platform 5.4 :

bao gồm đầy đủ và tích hợp máy chủ ảo hóa lưu trữ, cùng với khả năng sẵn sàng cao clustering. Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.4 có thể sử dụng hypervisor trong một môi trường Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization hỗ trợ không giới hạn các virtual machine (guests).

+ Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.4 :

Hỗ trợ tối đa 4 virtual machine.

Các phiên bàn này dành cho x86, x86/64, Itanium, IBM Power và System z. Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.4 bao gồm nhiều tính năng mới kết hợp với cải tiến trong ảo hóa, lưu trữ / hệ thống tập tin, an ninh và các công cụ phát triển.

Join Linux vào Active Directory bằng LikewiseOpen

Để joint linux vào Domain của AD bạn cần install thêm Likewise Open
Sau khi download các gói thích hợp cho đúng distro ta tiến hành install tương tự như sau :

[root@fc11 hatu]# cd Likewise Open/

Quá trình cài đặt đã hoàn thành.

Bước tiếp theo để joint vào domain ta thực hiện lệnh theo cú pháp :

#/opt/likewise/bin/domainjoin-cli join yourdomain.com yourADusername

vd :
#/opt/likewise/bin/domainjoin-cli join mydomain.com Administrator

Lưu ý : dùng quyền root với lệnh trên.

Khởi động lại máy bạn là bạn có thể đăng nhập vào linux với user trong domain.

Blog này có lẽ tôi dùng để sưu tầm những bài viết hay, cập nhật tin tức về công nghệ ảo hóa. Cũng có thể là những bài viết chia sẻ những gì tôi biết về lĩnh vực ảo hóa còn khá mới mẻ ở Việt Nam.
